Few days ago I came across The Wishing Well and I was very much surprised from this small but beautiful Italian restaurant. Very reasonable prices for the quality of the food. It has unique style and atmosphere. I will go back soon, because I love it.

I totally loved the food in the wishing well. the steak offer with chips and a drink is such a value for money! beats the credit crunch! lol the staff is friendly and i spent a good half an hour chatting to them! atmosphere is cool and different!
definitely the place for an early xmas party with mates:)

Ijust went to The Wishing Well 4 days ago. I was so surprise - a special offer 7.95 for three course meal. The food was excellent. The stuff was verry friendly and helpfull. Causy, candlelight atmosphere. I would recomend this restaurant. Bob

For me The Wishing Well is the best restaurant in London. I've been going there for the last 7 years with all my family and friends. We have never been disappointed. The food is excellent, service is great and the atmosphere is wonderful. I would strongly recommend this restaurant.

Two of us called in at 1730hrs on a Thursday, in order to have a quick meal prior to attending a concert. The proprietor was polite and helpful. The food appeared within a reasonable time and was obviously freshly prepared. About ten other diners were eating a variety of items from the simple but good-sized menu. The atmosphere was pleasant.I shall most likely re-visit this establishment. Maybe not on a Saturday though!

I agree to some extent. The food took ages to arrive and then it left a lot to be desired. The tables were cramped and the bread looked very stale (I was afraid to try it), but the only two visible members of staff were fairly pleasant.

My friends and I made the unfortunate mistake of dining at this restaurant a week ago on a Saturday evening. The service was extremely slow, the food average and the staff RUDE! The tables were cramped, it took one hour for our starter order to be taken and another for our mains. The restaurant operate a voucher deal where you can have a 3 course meal for around �8. However, on ordering, they failed to tell us what was and wasn't included in the voucher deal. As a consequence, I ordered something not included, which I found out when my dish was delivered to our table! The lady serving was extremely rude when I suggested that they should have informed me when I ordered. She then snatched my food off our table without so much as warning and suggested I order again. We were not happy about this (as 1. the restaurant should have offerd the meal as a good will gesture, 2. we weren't going to wait an hour for the new dish to arrrive and 3. My friends and I wanted to eat together!) and voicing our concerns was met with shouting by the woman, who claimed to be a partner! It was embarrassing for us as all the diners were staring and infuriating. We promptly paid for what we had eaten and drunk and then left the restuarant. My friends and I have never been to such a restaurant before where customer service is disgraceful, and you pay to be shouted down by the staff. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone - STEER CLEAR!
