Wahaca

We where in and out in just less then 30 minutes, being in a rush to get home this was a no mean achievement. It was closing time so the staff we keen to see the us turned around in good time so they could knock off after a busy evenings service.

Both of our waiters were efficient and professional, our male waiter taking the time to explain not only the menu but the companies growth plans in the next few years.

We had the Wahaca selection, for 2 people to share £19.75* which consisted of 3 pork pibil tacos, 3 espinacas tacos, 2 huitlacoche quesadillas, 2 mackerel tostadas, 2 chicken taquitos with green rice and frijoles. Great value and very good food. The pork pibil tacos being the daddy of the ensemble for me, though an honourable mention should go to the frijoles, a perfect mix of cheese and beans.

I've eaten a few Mexicans meals recently and whilst I can't be sure how authentic any of the meals I've had have been this was definitely one of the best.
